Operating conditions are as follows: 1. Diameter DN1400; Connection pressure PN10 2. Connection type: to be determined 3. Material of connection pipe: fiberglass, thickness 8mm ; 4. Transport medium: flue gas, whose main components include SO2, SO3, chloride ions, particulate matter, and a large amount of moisture ; 5. Medium temperature: inlet ≤ 70 degrees, operating temperature at the outlet is 90 degrees, with a maximum temperature of 120 degrees ; 6. Explosion protection type: Non-explosion-proof ; 7. Switch type: Switch-type motor head, equipped with an interface for signal control, using a leading domestic brand ; 8. System pressure: 1) During normal operation, the inlet negative pressure should be ≥ -10 kPa, and the outlet positive pressure should be ≤ 20 kPa ; 2) When the system is not in operation, both valves close, with the positive pressure from the flue gas being ≤ 20 kPa ; 9. Leakage requirement: theoretically zero leakage
Based on the above operating conditions, the following recommendations are provided for selecting the appropriate butterfly valve model: 1. Valve type: Dual-eccentric or triple-eccentric electric fluoroplastic-lined butterfly valves are recommended; (1) The triple-eccentric sealing structure is more suitable for applications requiring high tightness at large diameters, enabling better achievement of theoretical zero leakage (with an airtightness level meeting VI-grade standards) ; (2) The valve core and sealing surfaces are made of fluorinated materials (such as corrosion-resistant fluoroplastics like FEP and PFA) to enhance corrosion resistance and resistance to flue gas corrosion. 2. Connection method selection: Since the pipe is made of fiberglass reinforced plastic with a thickness of only 8 mm, it is relatively thin and has limited stiffness; therefore, a flange connection method is recommended. Flexible expansion joints or flexible pipe fittings should be used as auxiliary connections to reduce stress impacts on the pipe. 3. Material selection suggestions: Valve body: ductile iron or cast steel lined with a high-quality fluoroplastic layer (FEP, PFA). Valve plate: carbon steel or stainless steel with a full PFA/FEP lining; the thickness of the fluorine layer must be ≥3 mm to ensure corrosion and wear resistance. Valve shaft: Stainless steel 316 or 2205 duplex steel, to enhance corrosion resistance and strength. 4. Key points for selecting electric actuators: It is recommended to use high-quality on-off type electric actuators (non-explosion-proof) from well-known domestic manufacturers: (1) Equipped with position feedback and signal interfaces ; (2) Considering the large opening and closing torque, a proper safety margin should be reserved ; (3) Equipped with a manual operating device to ensure it can be manually opened or closed in emergency situations. 5. Sealing performance requirements: The use of a triple-eccentric fluoroplastic-lined butterfly valve can meet the “zero leakage” sealing performance requirements specified in GB/T13927-2008 standard, that is, it achieves a leakage level of VI (soft seal). 6. Temperature conditions: For the proper operation of valves with fluoroplastic linings, a maximum temperature of 120°C is recommended; the actual operating temperature reaches 120°C, which is close to the limit. It is therefore necessary to incorporate an appropriate temperature safety factor, and fluoroplastic materials with higher tolerance should be chosen (PFA is recommended, as it can withstand temperatures up to around 150°C for short periods of time) ; For special processes or conditions, liner reinforcement or layer thickness can be increased as needed to improve reliability. In summary: The recommended valve type is an electric three-eccentric butterfly valve with DN1400 PN10 flange connection, featuring a ductile iron or cast steel valve body lined with a PFA fluoroplastic layer; the valve disc and valve shaft are lined with fluorine material or subjected to high-efficiency anti-corrosion treatment. It is equipped with a high-quality domestic brand electric actuator with a signal interface, meeting all the requirements for zero leakage, high corrosion resistance, and operation in harsh temperature conditions. .
