May I ask how to fill out this instrument data sheet? I’ve just started in this industry, and there’s a lot I don’t understand!
Choose a small gauge – is it really necessary to enter dozens or even hundreds of data points? It’s a mess of selection materials provided by the manufacturer; there’s a page with the selection code pages, and you just go through each item one by one, select and fill in the information, and that’s it. . . Some details regarding the code page selection are not included. If you are interested in such things, for example, with some instruments the 4–20mA output signal is the standard and the only option available; in such cases, that option will not be mentioned in the code. If you are concerned about matters of this kind, then check the technical specifications section of the documentation – there you’ll find the information. If you can’t find it, then go and ask the manufacturer’s technical support engineers. . .
Go and find some sample selections to read; it shows how to make the choice, as the manufacturer has outlined the steps clearly. For a product, if you read 3 or 5 detailed articles about it, you’ll be able to understand it clearly.

This type of table is filled out based on the actual conditions on site; for example, depending on the material and the medium used, the corresponding material should be selected. The prices of many instruments are related to the material used; Work pressure and working temperature should also be based on practical considerations, with a slight relaxation from those practical limits. Many designers fill out this table by adhering to the extreme requirements of the design scheme, which inadvertently excludes many viable and cost-effective products, thereby increasing costs.
I also think that creating such a data table is really troublesome!
