Solenoid valve issue

I have a two-position solenoid valve on site; the inlet is labeled 2 and the outlet is labeled 1. Is it installed incorrectly? Shouldn’t the inlet be labeled 1 and the outlet 2?
Are there arrow indicators? Depending on its use, it is possible that this type of installation is the one required
There are many types of solenoid valves; it would be best to include a schematic diagram or image to facilitate accurate discussion.

There should be instructions; for different solenoids, the same letters may not necessarily mean the same thing. I’ve been tricked just once before.
It also doesn’t state that 1 means import. Some strange manufacturers just like to come up with gimmicks. It still needs to be checked carefully.
