There is a orifice plate differential pressure flow meter equipped with an EJA transmitter, with a range of 0-100 Kpa. It was working fine before, but now, as soon as it is put into use, the reading exceeds the range and an AL30 error message appears. What could be the cause?

Pressure is measured using a pressure transducer; there is no condensation tank. The steam pressure is 1.0 Mpa. The gauge can return to zero after it is stopped, but as soon as it starts working again, it shows AL30 -2.5%

Is it possible to measure steam without a condensation tank? Will the diaphragm of the EJA transmitter not get damaged by heat?
A condenser tank must be installed for steam measurement in accordance with regulatory requirements. Another issue is that the gauge exceeds its range as soon as it is turned on; this can be due to blockage on the negative pressure side, incorrect range settings, or damage to the sensor caused by high temperatures during the initial operation of the instrument. First, measure the zero current after returning to zero, and then use the BT200 to determine what is causing it. Find the orifice plate calculation sheet and check the given calculation conditions and results. If it is incorrect, the data must be provided again for calculation
Is it due to design reasons or construction reasons? The steam actually doesn’t require a condenser to be installed. A small workshop? Haha
