There are no standard systems for alarm management in chemical plants; differing understandings have led to confusion regarding the setting of process alarms and safety alarms. The interlock systems are also not standardized, and this requires further systematic consideration. This table only indicates the direction; experts are kindly requested to provide further guidance on the specific procedures!
For the rationalization settings of alarms, refer to IEC Standard 62682. Domestic standards are still very imperfect.
