Sure. When purchasing, you can also choose a slightly larger one and use it by adjusting the range.
All of that is nonsense. Pressure transmitters use different diaphragms for different pressure levels; take Yokogawa’s examples – there are diaphragms labeled A, B, C, D, and so on. It is the process pressure that determines which diaphragm should be used
