The differential pressure transmitter on site is used to measure the liquid level in the scrubber tower; the diaphragm box used for measuring positive pressure has two holes in it, and they are quite regular in shape, as shown in the figure. What causes this? How can it be avoided?
Isn’t that a bit unscientific? Such perfect holes can only be made using a CNC machine.
I don’t know; it was taken off for maintenance. Check the transmitter; among the three installed at the same location, only this one is like this.

If you could use a CNC machine to drill two holes in a super-thin, paper-like membrane, then you would be a national treasure – even pandas, Qian Xuesen, and Yuan Longping would be less valuable than you! :lol The missiles of the People’s Liberation Army would surely target your eyes and drill two holes in them............. Don’t expose your incompetent teacher who never taught you anything about torque! :lol If you don’t even know basic common sense, go ask the skilled machinists; there are specialized fields for everything. It’s not shameful to not know something, but it is shameful to pretend to know. . . How were those two symmetrical holes in the diaphragm created? Bro, I won’t talk about it today; I’ll leave the question aside to give 49205455 another chance to show off his shitty skills. @49205455
I’m paying close attention to it. I really don’t know why, but it seems so symmetrical; it’s as if it’s an electrochemical reaction... Could someone with expertise explain how such a situation can occur?
Hurry up and share your opinion. Bro Pig
Also, could the original poster provide a brief overview of the operating conditions – such as the type of medium used, operating temperature, operating pressure, installation method, etc.? I’m really curious……
It’s amazing – symmetrical, delicate, perfect
It’s really amazing – it doesn’t look like corrosion, nor does it seem to be a natural occurrence; it appears to be man-made. Did the poster make those two holes himself to test everyone? ;P
