The fisher2625 pneumatic amplifier features a fixed dead zone, a built-in soft valve seat, and an integrated bypass throttle device; these elements work together to eliminate the actuator saturation problems that can occur with conventional pneumatic amplifiers, thereby improving the stability of regulation. Especially in applications with rapidly changing process conditions and where rapid valve response is required, valve positioners alone cannot provide the necessary speed of travel to meet these demands; therefore, the improved performance of the Fisher 2625-12 pneumatic amplifier becomes particularly important. The 2625 pneumatic amplifier is equipped with a built-in soft valve seat, which helps to improve air tightness, reduce unnecessary air consumption, and eliminate saturation issues in the amplifier inside the positioner. Its bypass limiter enables rapid response from the actuator, further enhancing the excellent performance of the VBL. This limiter also enables the control valve to respond to slowly changing signals or provide on/off control functionality. This fine-tuning function does not affect the dead zone of the pneumatic amplifier. (The dead zone allows the pneumatic amplifier to ignore minor signal changes, thereby avoiding unnecessary actions and improving stability.) With a compact and lightweight design, the VBL pneumatic amplifier features an aluminum body, along with 1/4NPT input and 1/2NPT connections. It has a diaphragm inside, upper and lower valves, and NBR O-rings. The maximum input pressure is 10.3 bar (150 psig), with a fixed input-to-output ratio of 1:1.
