Hello everyone. Currently, the signal from a radar level gauge is sent to a paperless recorder in a nearby cabinet for display; we also want to transmit this signal to the control room. How can this be achieved? Paperless recorder model: AX102-4-3; it seems to support 485 communication according to what I’ve checked. In this case, should a signal distributor be added to the cabinet with two wires running out to the remote control room, or should the signal be taken from the recorder? How to take it? Please explain in detail. What kind of thread should be used? Thank you!
Considering cost, convenience, and value for money. It can be controlled from the control room using MODBUS RS485. All signals from the recorder can be routed there.

The signal from a radar level gauge is generally an 4-20MA output. As mentioned on the 4th floor, you just need to purchase a 4-20MA two-way signal safety barrier to obtain two separate signals. It can be bought for a few hundred yuan. Install it in the paperless recorder cabinet, and transmit the signal to the recorder along the way. An additional signal cable is laid from the safety barrier to the control room.
