In the International System of Units, the concept and unit of pressure are defined; however, in our field of industrial measurement, it seems that only the concept of pressure exists, and its unit and definition are consistent with those of pressure in the International System of Units. I’m not an expert; I just play on some imitation versions. P This issue was raised back in the era when international SI standards were being promoted. It’s just a common term; everyone knows it refers to pressure. Just call it that; it’s already an informal name. It’s just like those foreign terms from the past – a bucket wasn’t called a bucket; it was called “wei de luo er”. All foreign terms were accepted, let alone those that are native to our own language. Oh, and turbines aren’t called turbines either; they have to be called “turbines”: lol

But oh, those old folks who like to mess around kept calling it a pressure gauge, and they even wrote it as something like industry standards or national standards. With such examples set by those older generations, it’s only natural that those who come after them end up distorting things...
