Among the currently imported vortex flowmeters, Yokogawa’s high-temperature model has a maximum operating temperature of 450 degrees, making it the most reliable vortex flowmeter product available in China； E+H can probably measure up to 400 degrees ； Rosemount Emerson is around 427 degrees.
Vortex flow meters can generally measure the flow rate of fluids at temperatures below 300°C.
The vortex flow meter used for measuring high-temperature media should be of a separate-type design, right? At even higher temperatures, could the electronic circuitry of the sensor not withstand it?
Yes, when making a selection, for those with a large difference from the ambient temperature, whether it’s high or low temperatures, I choose split-type flow meters.
Temperature of the medium under test: normal temperature – 25°C to 100°C; high temperature – 25°C to 150°C, –25°C to 250°C. Medium temperatures: –40°C to 80°C, –40°C to 150°C, –40°C to 300°C℃
At such high temperatures, it’s best to consult the manufacturer...
