I saw that the differential pressure transmitter was used to measure flow rate at the site, and migration was not applied in horizontal pipelines. There is a migration value of +5.8 above the vertical pipe; the graywater flow rate was measured, with a distance of 1 meter between the two flanges. How is this calculated? Isn’t migration needed only for measuring liquid levels?
The two flanges are one meter apart. Then the orifice plate should be ruled out; could it be a coccygeal flow meter? What specific flow meter is it? There are also several types of differential pressure flow meters
In my opinion, migration is necessary as long as there is condensate in the pressure guide tube after it has been in operation for some time, and that condensate persists.

Migration is not only required for measuring liquid levels. The purpose of migration is to eliminate the effect caused by the uneven forces acting on the positive and negative chambers of the differential pressure transmitter during zero-point measurement, so that its output becomes zero.
