Large central control rooms generally use tile flooring to give a more grand and luxurious appearance, instead of raised floors. I would like to ask how the network cables and power cables for a large number of operation stations are concealed and installed Both aesthetics and the convenience of wiring need to be taken into consideration. Is a concealed cable trench being used? I would appreciate everyone’s guidance and discussion.
We use small cable trenches for wiring; these trenches are placed beneath the control panel in a location that does not interfere with operator operations. The area outside the panel is covered with floor tiles identical to those on the ground. This solves both the wiring problem and the issue of aesthetic appearance of the floor. To address the issue of securing the ground on top of the cable trenches outside the platform, steel plates can be laid under the floor tiles as support.
What was said upstairs is correct – this type of wiring is relatively concealed and the overall appearance is nice, but it’s not very suitable for private businesses. My former boss kept changing his mind all the time; whenever new equipment was installed, the layout had to be altered, which meant that a fully suspended anti-static floor was necessary in such cases.
Raise the cabinet by 30 centimeters, leaving 1 meter at the back for cable routing; place the control panel 15 centimeters away. Install recessed boxes first, then lay tiles, and finally add an anti-static floor to achieve the desired level.
What is the approximate size of a small cable? It was originally designed as 400*300; I’m not sure if that’s appropriate. If floor tiles are to be laid on the cable trench, it will have to be demolished, right? Will it be inconvenient when adding cables?
As long as the leadership is willing to allocate a budget. A floor covered in gold will do as well.
Taking the control hall of Wanhua Petrochemical’s control building in Figure 2 as an example, there is a cable trench half a meter deep beneath the operation station. All the cables are inside; beneath the floor with the darker color you can see is the cable trench.
