I am engaged in the design and manufacture of natural gas analysis booths, which are used in natural gas pipelines to measure components of natural gas, dew point, hydrocarbon dew point, total sulfur/hydrogen sulfide content, and so on. The equipment is integrated within a stainless steel enclosure and connected to the on-site main pipeline via pipelines for real-time online measurement and analysis.
Typically, natural gas flow metering systems come equipped with straight sections before and after the meter, as well as various types of flow regulators, to ensure measurement accuracy. In addition, the analytical instruments installed in the stainless steel enclosure can analyze the components of natural gas, thereby enabling the calculation of its calorific value.
May I ask: Is online analysis required before metering for the transmission of natural gas? Is it necessary to go to the online analysis booth to adjust the measurement accuracy? Is it that the main gas pipeline for external delivery is connected to the on-line analysis booth, and after leaving the booth it goes to the metering skid? Is it possible to skip the online analysis booth and directly transfer the product after measurement using a metering lever? Are there regulations requiring online analysis?
