The thermocouples in the existing incinerator equipment do not last long – they burn out roughly once a month. This is mainly because the material being burned contains sulfur and salts, and the temperature is around 1100 degrees. Sulfur causes corrosion of the protective sleeves, while salts lead to large chunks of condensed salt falling off the furnace walls and damaging those sleeves. Therefore, the sleeves needed must be able to withstand high temperatures and corrosion, without being too brittle. Do you have any recommendations for good brands?

Suggestions: 1. Prepare the vertical holes properly; this is the first step in selecting a corundum sleeve, and if done inadequately, the effectiveness may be zero. It’s not easy to do well – one factor is size, and the other is the perpendicularity of the flange to the hole. 2. Only by choosing a corundum sleeve can corrosion resistance and high-temperature resistance be achieved. 3. For the corundum sleeve, use 2 layers; except for the areas where the sleeve openings are sealed and fixed, the gap between the layers should be at least 4 mm in all other areas.
At 1100℃, stainless steel won’t work; moreover, elements such as sulfur are present, and metal corrosion at high temperatures is quite complex
