Is a signal to allow driving required, meaning a separate wire between the DCS and the electrical cabinet? When is it needed?
Under normal circumstances, the signal allowing driving is one that appears in a normal state only after multiple parameters meet certain requirements; it permits subsequent actions to be carried out. It is not merely a signal, but rather an expression of a logical relationship.
Thank you. I mean, how is this signal sent to the electrical actuator? Can we still use the start-up and shutdown circuits in DCS?
Regarding safety interlocks and protection, separate circuits are generally required, and they should be connected in series to the main control circuit
Just one DO point is enough
It is simply a DO signal that is sent to the electrical system, provided that all interlock conditions are met
