I’m working on a project involving DN15 pipes, and it’s necessary to measure the ammonia flow rate; I’m not sure which type of flow meter to use – an orifice plate? Vortex flow meter? I hope an expert can give some advice. Thank you

If the accuracy requirement is not high, a rotameter can be used directly; if measurement is necessary, an integrated orifice plate can also be employed. For higher flow rates, a small-diameter vortex flow meter can be used. The built-in orifice plate differential pressure transmitter is used for this purpose; ask Yokogawa Electric, and the EJA115 will suffice.
Vortex flowmeters won’t work; the pipe is too thin. I’ve never seen vortex flowmeters installed on pipes with a diameter of 15
The difference between the inner diameters of the straight sections before and after the vortex flow meter, as well as that between this diameter and the inner diameter of the flow meter itself, should be less than 3%; therefore, the diameter of the pipe changes both before and after the flow meter. How can you adjust the diameter of a 15-inch pipe?
A rotameter can be used directly
All requirements can be met through adjustments to the process piping; I’m currently stuck at the selection stage. Would a thermal mass flow meter work? I would appreciate your advice
