Does a gas supply failure trigger an interlocked shutdown?

Dear colleagues, I work with PLCs. In the event of a gas supply failure, the PLC does not initiate an interlock shutdown. I would like to ask whether the SIS/ESD sends an interlock signal to the PLC in case of a gas supply failure Does a gas supply failure require the machine to be stopped for maintenance? Are there any that don’t stop?
It depends on the situation; different approaches are needed. There are faults involving large areas of the gas supply as well as those affecting smaller areas, and the outcomes vary accordingly
Whether it is a fault in the gas supply for instruments or in the process gas supply, it should be handled differently depending on the process
Even for instrument air supplies, critical valves are equipped with additional air tanks to maintain a certain valve position; not all of them require interlocking.
It’s generally not done; there will be time required for repairs if there’s a problem with the gas supply, so there’s no need to touch the device
