Formulate selection principles for control instruments (a framework for guidance), participate in instrument selection, be involved in supplier recommendation and evaluation, take part in technical discussions, attend the technical evaluations for procurement purposes to determine the instrument suppliers, participate in FAT, and engage in reviews during the design phase.

Since the EPC turnkey approach is adopted, aspects such as the scope of the bidding, delivery timeline, and methods of construction are not something you need to focus on – these are the responsibilities and obligations of the EPC contractor. All you need to do is translate all of your company’s legitimate requirements into contractual terms and include them within the scope of the EPC contract.
At this stage, you should state your requirements and prepare a list; for some instruments, on-site measurement and control may be necessary
