Pneumatic valve silencers tend to freeze

Rainy winters can sometimes cause the silencers on pneumatic valves to freeze. Have you encountered similar issues? Is there any good way?
Is a similar phenomenon present in the mufflers of other areas? If it’s a common phenomenon, maybe I know the reason!
This post was last edited by qugd on 2020-6-10 09:51. The silencer functions in a manner similar to an adiabatic expansion process: the gas absorbs heat as it expands. When water vapor accumulates on the silencer, freezing may occur due to the drop in temperature. Just install heat dissipation fins on the silencer.
