Hello everyone, I would like to ask regarding the sealing material, namely rubber, used in gas mass flow meters. The medium I am measuring is H2 – will there be any leakage?

Does H2 have a strong penetrating effect on rubber? Can it be used normally? Additionally, this flow meter is not explosion-proof; I use it in a laboratory, under normal conditions – is there any danger in measuring H2 in such an environment?
Hydrogen gas is very prone to leakage, so it’s often checked using soapy water. There’s nothing wrong with the rubber itself. Generally, there shouldn’t be any problems; just be careful and monitor more closely.
