I would like to ask fellow sailors: when calibrating instruments, by how much higher must the accuracy of the standard gauge be than that of the gauge being tested? Which standard has relevant provisions?
According to the calibration specifications for the relevant instruments, there are requirements regarding the accuracy of the standard meters.

The relative error of the standard table is one-third of the relative error of the tested table.
The relative error of the standard table is 1/3 to 1/4 of the relative error of the table under verification; of course, this is also generally derived from the uncertainty.
For pressure transmitters, the uncertainty of the calibration equipment should be 1/4 of the absolute value of the maximum allowable error of the pressure transmitter being tested. For pressure transmitters rated at 0.1 or 0.05 precision, this uncertainty should not exceed 1/3 of the absolute value of the maximum allowable error of the transmitter in question~
