How is the liquid level reference level 0 set?
The pressure guide tube to the transmitter is not in a horizontal position, as shown in the diagram; however, the transmitter’s zero point has been adjusted. Due to installation constraints, the flange of the magnetic flap level gauge cannot be aligned horizontally with the bottom of the tank, so the position of the magnetic flaps was raised to a level that is horizontal with the bottom of the tank

A dew collection tank must be installed at a position lower than that of the differential pressure gauge, to ensure that no dew forms on the diaphragm of the gauge. Is this tank area considered a major hazard source? The remote unit and the on-site unit share the same pressure tapping point – didn’t your local safety supervision agency raise any objections?
It works fine; Pig Brother’s advice is correct – the issue of condensation in the gas phase tube needs to be taken into account. There’s another issue: if an expert comes to inspect it, they will say that the installation is not proper and adjustments are needed:D
It’s best not to innovate with such facilities. There are specialized personnel to handle any issues that arise; if something goes wrong and it cannot be resolved, the consequences will outweigh the benefits.
It always seems that with this installation method, the remote transmission is prone to being affected. If there is fluid accumulation in the negative pressure measurement pipeline, you don’t have a vent valve – so how are you going to get rid of that liquid? The fluid accumulation affects remote transmission, but not the local area. There should at least be a vent valve at the lowest point of the pressure tap below. Will all the water gather here? Personally, I think there’s really no other way; you can weld a tee at the root valve and branch off from there. The remote transmission and on-site systems use separate pipelines.
This seems to be an instrument installed for dry heat tracing; there’s a chance to redo it properly. Installing instruments in this way tends to cause problems, and someone will have to take the blame
