If one end of the differential pressure level gauge tube is connected to the bottom of the process equipment, its insertion depth should be greater than 50 mm. Is there any basis for this requirement? Which standard requires it? Thank you! ! ! ! !
Generally, isn’t it the flanged connection that is connected to the equipment, followed by the valve and then the pressure tapping tube? How is it inserted into the equipment?
This is a requirement specified in clause 10.2.5 of SH/T3521-2007, but that standard has been repealed; the replacement standard in its 2013 version does not include this requirement.
