Vertical installation, with the fluid flowing from bottom to top, is the appropriate orientation. In the case of horizontal installation, the plane of the measuring electrode must be horizontal, thereby preventing short-term insulation of the electrode caused by trapped bubbles. The air traffic control detection function operates correctly only when the measuring device is installed horizontally and the transmitter housing faces upward. During the installation of vortex flowmeters, if there is severe vibration, pay attention to supporting the pipeline and the sensor; if the vibration is extremely intense, the sensor and the transmitter should be installed separately. It is not allowed to use the frame to bear the weight of the sensor, as this will cause the frame to deform and damage the internal excitation coil. When installing sensors, try to avoid components such as valves, tees, and elbows. Since the circuit board inside the transmitter chamber of the electromagnetic flowmeter is highly susceptible to damage from corrosion caused by substances such as water, humid gases, and corrosive gases, a cable seal must be installed at the cable entry point. In areas prone to fire and explosion, corresponding explosion-proof requirements must also be met, and the grounding end of the wire should be connected to the appropriate grounding terminal.
