To change a pneumatic valve from air-open to air-close, adjustments need to be made to the cylinder; here’s how to proceed.

If conditions permit, changing the overall orientation of the cylinder can also achieve this
1. For cylinder actuators, whether they use fork-type mechanisms or gear-rack mechanisms, to change the direction of the pneumatic action, it is necessary to disassemble the cylinder, adjust the position of the spring in relation to the piston, and redirect the air supply to the other side of the piston. Some cylinders have this feature; they are single-acting cylinders with air inlets on both sides of the piston, with the spare side being blocked off by a plug. 2. If the valve is a ball valve, it can be set to the switching state required when the cylinder loses air, thereby achieving either air-operated opening or air-operated closing. There is no need to adjust the cylinder.
How can the direction of action of a single-acting cylinder be changed by adjusting the position of the fork?

Double-acting, no air-on/air-off
There’s no need to move the cylinder at all for opening or closing the gas. When the valve is closed and the cylinder is installed, it means the gas is on; when the valve is open and the cylinder is installed, it means the gas is off. It’s just adjusting the valve status – what does that have to do with the cylinder?
I. For gas on/off adjustment, install the piston in the cylinder in an inverted position. II. Adjust the installation position of the solenoid valve. III. Directly remove the cylinder, change the position of the ball in the switch valve, and simultaneously adjust the position feedback device.
