The readings of the on-site temperature transmitter fluctuate; it was found that the use of a walkie-talkie in the vicinity causes interference, as the temperature readings change significantly when a walkie-talkie is used near the transmitter. What should be done to address this issue? Has anyone encountered the same problem?
The high power of the walkie-talkie definitely has an impact on the instruments. Some domestically produced instruments of inferior quality have very poor interference resistance; it’s better to replace them. . . Either use it as a warning and mark it as a no-entry area; P
Use shielded cables and ensure proper grounding.
A shielded cable is one that can block out electrical interference. But how can the interference from the walkie-talkie’s own instruments be eliminated?
The walkie-talkies cause a lot of interference; even being near the locator can cause fluctuations in the control valves. Warning signs should be placed to indicate that walkie-talkies are not allowed to be used within two meters. Make an iron cover to enclose the temperature.
