Dear teachers, have you used the Chongqing CHUANYI HVP111 locator? Currently, the DCS sends a command for an open degree, but the valve does not move; the current level is normal, self-diagnosis is not possible, and an error indicating an inappropriate installation angle is reported. Changing the position of the feedback rod didn’t work either. Previously, when instrument air was supplied to this locator, there was a loud hissing sound coming from its exhaust port; as soon as the instrument air supply was interrupted and then restored, the DCS adjustments stopped working. I need the manual for the locator and solutions to the problems.
Take it apart to check if there’s dirt on the air circuit components; I encountered a Siemens unit with the same issue, and cleaning it after taking it apart resolved the problem
It wasn’t installed correctly; adjust the large gear first – once it’s self-checked, there should be no problems. The angle is wrong
It’s possible that the retaining ring of the connecting rod has come loose, resulting in a loose connection with the large gear; remove the housing to take a look
First, check if there’s a problem with the feedback resistor, and then see if the throttle opening is blocked. It’s basically the same principle in both cases; take it apart and examine it yourself. If there’s noise, it means the control valve assembly is worn out. In the case ofABB products, if you don’t have experience, don’t waste time trying to fix it – just replace it directly
