I’d like to ask the experts! Can a combustible gas detector be installed horizontally? Isn’t it usually installed vertically? Thank you! ! :)
It depends on what kind of sensitive components are used. For solid-state devices, there are no special requirements regarding the installation direction; as long as it is convenient and reliable. However, a small number of sensitive devices use wet chemical methods, meaning they contain liquid solutions inside; in such cases, the device should be installed according to the installation instructions, usually in a vertical position, to prevent the container holding the solution from tilting or even leaking.
