Common problems in cable installation: 12. Incomplete or inconsistent labeling of cable terminals; the cable is damaged during stranding; the terminal connections are not secure. l Analysis and prevention: The cables should be checked before connection, and the labels at the cabinet end and at both ends on-site should be consistent or correspond to each other. When removing the outer insulating sheath, the insulation layer of the wire core should not be damaged ; The wires and terminal connections must be firmly crimped to ensure good conductivity; after crimping, a pull test should be conducted to verify the strength of the connection, especially in interlocked circuits. Multiple soft wires must have crimped terminals, and the connection between the wires and the terminals should be secure with no burrs.
The thermocouples in our high-temperature areas have repeatedly shown issues with inaccurate measurement values; after checking the instruments, it was determined that poor contact was caused by high-temperature oxidation of the wiring connections. After breaking and grinding the wire end and reconnecting it, the measurement value returned to normal. Is there any way to avoid this situation?
