Regarding the current situation in our factory, for some equipment subject to mandatory inspection, mandatory inspection labels are applied on-site. For some on-site indicating devices such as pressure gauges, labels indicating the installation date are attached. For the equipment that has been tuned by you, attach a label indicating its expiration date as set by you. But now there is a problem: pressure testing can be done on differential pressure transmitters. For vortex flowmeters and electromagnetic flowmeters, I am unable to calibrate them myself; firstly, there are too many of them, and secondly, I don’t have the necessary testing equipment. I’m wondering how your company manages vortex flowmeters and electromagnetic flowmeters?

It depends on the requirements of the factory; generally, temperature and pressure are calibrated according to the classification levels specified by instruments ABC, following their respective calibration schedules; For other meters, periodic inspections are carried out on a monthly basis by designated personnel from the production and instrumentation departments; these inspections involve checking the parameter settings of meters such as electromagnetic flowmeters, vortex flowmeters, and thermal flowmeters. For differential pressure meters, the parameters and zero points are checked, and corresponding records are kept. In 2006, at the factory where I used to work, there was an idea to develop a set of calibration equipment for electromagnetic flowmeters. I went to Chongqing’s Chuanyi Company to discuss this matter; the cost for a set of equipment designed for medium and small diameters was 6,000 yuan, while for larger diameters it was 3 times that amount. In addition to the financial costs, there were also complicated requirements regarding certification, and in the end nothing came of it: lol
