Yokogawa’s pneumatic control valve can open fully but cannot close; it’s not clear what the issue is. Replacing the actuator didn’t help either
Are there any photos? Is the actuator of cylinder type or diaphragm type? What attachments are there? Can’t it be closed at all, or isn’t it closed tightly? Your question is not professional at all
What form? It’s said too simply. Check if there is a limit switch, and adjust it if necessary.
Are there any pictures? I haven’t seen any control valves of the Yokogawa brand yet
Check the air supply pressure and signals, as well as whether the valve core is clogged; address these issues first.
Without identifying the cause, spare parts should not be replaced blindly, as this can lead to incorrect judgments. The issue of insufficient closure is usually adjustable. The valve does not need to be fully opened, but it must be completely closed – for reference only.
