Dear sea friends, a flow meter needs to be installed in the boiler chemical dosing system. The pipe diameter is DN25, with a maximum flow rate of 100 L/h, a maximum pressure of 10 MPa, an operating pressure of 4 MPa, operation at normal temperature, and the medium is trisodium phosphate. What type of flow meter should be used based on these parameters?

We already have metering pumps, but the security requirements call for an alarm at low flow rates, and these metering pumps do not have remote transmission capabilities.
The electromagnetic flowmeter was considered, but the flow rate is low; reducing the pipe diameter would be necessary, yet it’s impossible to do so.
Why can’t the pipe diameter be reduced? Limited space?
If all that’s needed is to underreport data usage, isn’t it sufficient to install a data usage switch?
With this flow rate, it’s likely difficult to make a choice without diameter reduction; electromagnetic methods can cause internal diameter reduction, and there’s no need for diameter reduction in the external pipelines.
