Can an NPN Hall element be used with two controllers?

I tested it myself and found it didn’t work, but the development engineer insisted it would work. For example, with this Hall element, if we want to send its output to two different places, we find that only one of them can function when they are connected together. When I connect the OUT and GND terminals to another controller, I discover that they cannot operate simultaneously
What about the circuit on the back side? Should a relay be added in between?
Then call the engineer to the site to take a look together
Just add an isolator, right? Why fixate on the device itself?
