In the process plant area, if an instrument cable tray needs to be installed near a high-level operating platform, are there any requirements regarding the distance between the cable tray and the railing of the operating platform? How far do I need to avoid it?
It is only known that the instrument signal cables should be laid separately from the power cables, at a certain distance apart (this distance varies depending on the length of the cable tray). It seems there are no requirements regarding the spacing between the railings. As long as high-temperature process pipelines, as well as pipelines and equipment handling corrosive liquids, are avoided
