I need help. There is a process requirement to measure the content of dimethyl sulfate in pipes online. Previously, I have only encountered situations where dimethyl sulfate needed to be measured in the environment, and in such cases photoionization detectors were used. I also consulted with detector manufacturers, but they said it’s not possible to develop detectors for online measurement. If chromatography is the only method available for online measurement, the cost is too high.
