There are several types of anti-surge control systems used in large centrifugal compressors; in the four projects I have worked on, three used Tricon systems, while one used a CCC anti-surge control system. The anti-surge control systems of these two companies each have their advantages. In terms of personal preference, CCC is more user-friendly than Tricon; however, CCC relies on numerous associated instruments, and system disruptions caused by failures in these instruments are greater compared to those in Tricon. The forms and configurations of anti-surge control vary slightly across different projects. 1. SHENGU Automatic Control 2. CCC 3. Tricon. There are many descriptions of anti-surge control systems; below, the meaning of each line in the anti-surge diagram for Tricon is explained in detail.
