Will the use of an acidifier affect its performance after it is used?

Today, while performing digestion and turning on the preheating function, I noticed smoke coming out of the digestion hole. I thought it must have been someone who accidentally spilled acid earlier; I wasn’t sure what exactly it was, so I had to turn off the neutralizer and clean it with a clean cloth. It hasn’t affected usage, but I’m not sure if it might corrode and damage the holes, thus affecting future use How should this be handled? Have any teachers encountered this situation?
The question is unclear. What kind of sample digester is it? What material is the digester made of? How much acid should be added? Has corrosion occurred? ……
