This hidden risk is indeed very easy to overlook! This thermometer has an installation height of only about 10 cm, which does not meet the specified requirements at all. It is difficult to read the readings during inspections, and it is also prone to being damaged by passing people or materials, posing a risk of instrument damage or even leakage of the medium. In accordance with the requirements of SH/T 3012-2011, the installation height of on-site thermometers should be between 1.2 and 2.0 meters. To address this issue, either adjust the installation height of the instruments to fall within the specified range; or, if that is not possible, install simple protective barriers to prevent collisions.
