I would like to ask fellow users: on the vertical pipe (with air as the medium, flowing from bottom to top); Or can the liquid (from top to bottom) be used as a pressure measurement point? Operating pressure above PN16.
The air side should be fine; for liquids, doesn’t one need to consider the pressure in the vertical section? It depends on which specific pressure you want to measure
The liquid should fill the tube up to the point where there is no gas inside. Generally, there is not much difference between vertical pipes and horizontal pipes. The gas had no effect
The air is fine; everything is okay. Pressure points are generally taken on horizontal pipes for liquids; this is a common practice. However, if the on-site conditions are limited and sampling must be taken from the riser, the static pressure difference of the liquid must be taken into account, and the height of the sampling point needs to be calculated carefully. Otherwise, being too high or too low will affect the application. The level gauge for static devices is essentially a differential pressure gauge; the pressure-taking points for the liquid phase at the bottom are designed carefully, as either too high or too low values will affect the calculation of the liquid level. The two are similar in this regard.
No problem. For gases, there is no need to perform calibration for migration. If it is a liquid, the range needs to be calibrated for migration. When the pipeline is filled with a medium at normal pressure, the pressure readout on the transmitter can be used as the zero-pressure point. Alternatively, the static pressure can be calculated using the density of the medium and the vertical distance from the pressure transmitter to the top of the pipeline, and then calibration for migration can be carried out
