The software is now capable of handling most of the tasks related to automatic control design, such as: generating instrument index tables, DCS/SIS IO lists, DCS monitoring data sheets, alarm interlock lists, instrument summary tables, as well as importing and exporting instrument process condition tables; it can also create instrument data sheets, cable lists, instrument terminal wiring diagrams, junction box lists, instrument installation diagrams, perform calculations for control valves and throttling devices, generate circuit diagrams, instrument material lists, determine the requirements for instrument installation, create logic diagrams (version 1.0 has been developed), produce layout plans (still under development), synchronize with SPI databases, and provide comparisons with PID diagrams.
