For the remote transmission of steam pressure, what is the purpose of the cylindrical cover above this pressure guide tube? A pressure transfer tube is connected below the cylinder to the pressure transducer.
Differential pressure, used for measuring flow rate, I guess. The positive and negative pressure pressure transfer pipes in this small tank should be separate, serving the purpose of steam condensation, similar to a trap.
A condensation tank is used to prevent steam from continuously heating the diaphragm box, which could otherwise cause it to age and get damaged. However, the steam flow meter isn’t installed correctly; it should be at an angle of 45° downward from horizontal.
If it’s steam, there’s a problem with the installation, and the pressure guide pipe is also too short.
Is this a bar-type tube? It has never been seen entering from the bottom and exiting from the top in a balanced container, and no water remains in the condenser tank either.
With so many connections, it seems that this isn’t just a condenser tube; its installation pattern with fluid entering on one side and exiting on the other doesn’t allow for water retention. There are two interfaces on the right side, which likely correspond to a heat exchanger – inside it there might be coiled tubes, with steam flowing through the tube side and cooling water flowing through the shell side. Since no cooling water is connected in your case, condensation cannot occur. Alternatively, it might not be necessary to use cooling water continuously; filling it with water and sealing it off is sufficient.
I don’t think this is a condensation tank; it’s probably used for insulation. The medium flows through the tube side, while steam or hot water flows through the shell side. In cold weather, remove the two plugs on the right side to allow steam or hot water to be used for temporary insulation; remove them again when it’s not cold.
This should be a condensation tank, used for condensing steam; detailed information on this is usually provided in the material list of the design drawings.
I asked; this is a condensation tank to prevent high-temperature gases from drying things out.
