I would like to ask the experts: The Yokogawa card VF702 is used to connect the PC to the FCS. For example, if I add several HIS units, how do I set the station name switches? HIS0164/0163/0162 – does one VF correspond to one HIS? For example, let’s set it to 64 for the parity bits from high to low, plus 1000000. Since I don’t have a clear understanding of this, I hope experts can offer some guidance

For the Station Number, the most significant bit is used for odd parity checking; the remaining seven bits represent the Station Number. The value of the Station Number can be determined by looking at the positions of the DIP switches. For the VF702 card in units of type HISxxxx.HIS0164, the DIP switch settings are as follows: Domain Number: 01 (DIP switches: 00000001); Station Number: 64 (DIP switches: 01000000, with binary 1000000 corresponding to the decimal value 64). For HIS0162, the DIP switch settings on its VF702 card are: Domain Number: 01 (DIP switches: 00000001); Station Number: 62 (DIP switches: 00111110, with binary 0111110 corresponding to the decimal value 62). It’s this simple correspondence. Just convert it to binary and you’ll know. The DIP switches on ordinary digital circuit boards are set in binary.
