AVP100 feedback rod installation issue

As shown in Figure 2, the feedback rod above the cylinder is normally installed at a 90° perpendicular angle to these two straight lines, ensuring normal operation of the cylinder. However, the cylinder of the other device is installed vertically at 90° as shown in Figure 1, and can only be in the fully open or fully closed position. But it’s fine if the feedback forms a 120° angle in the direction of the green line. What causes this?
The linear feedback rod is at a 50% opening level. For angular travel, it depends on the initial angle position; 50% opening corresponds to an initial angle of 45 degrees.
I agree with the view from the second floor: for control valves with angular travel, when installing a positioner, a 50% valve position signal is usually provided; the valve position is adjusted manually to around 50%, and then automatic calibration is carried out (for intelligent models).
