Features and installation of the sonar-type external level gauge 1. The installation method is quite distinctive. As shown in the figure, since it is installed on the outside of the tank, there is no need to damage the tank’s structure, which makes its use very safe. In other words, no holes need to be made in the tank, nor is any welding required on site; instead, the magnet on the measuring head is used to attach it to the tank. Easy to install, no welding required. 2. Safe and environmentally friendly. Since the measurements are taken outside the tank, there is no contact between the instruments and the medium being measured, which prevents corrosion of the medium as well as any leaks from it. There is thus no risk of environmental pollution, nor is there a possibility of ignition caused by electrical components. 3. Easy to use. Since the sonar-type external level gauge is fully digital, it does not use high-voltage electricity, and there is no mechanical frictional movement in the gauge. Therefore, this instrument is reliable and can operate stably over the long term. The ELL-sonar type external level gauge meets the D*I CT6 explosion protection rating and IP65 protection level, ensuring safe use. 4. Since the instrument performs measurements outside the tank, it does not come into contact with the medium being measured. This not only prevents the medium from corroding the instrument but also ensures that there is no leakage of the medium, thus avoiding environmental pollution. 5. The sonar-type external level gauges produced by Dinghua Electronics feature an automatic calibration function, which allows for self-calibration of the instrument and helps to avoid measurement errors caused by changes in liquid composition or temperature.
