For a level sensor, as long as it is connected to the card, the current will be abnormal; however, there is no problem with the current as long as it does not pass through the card. But using a different temperature transmitter works just fine. A better level transmitter will also work just fine. Is it the issue of cheap level gauges? Is the interference resistance weak?
How can current be measured without a current clamp? Four-wire system? Was it measured at the instrument side or at the cabinet side? Have you tried switching channels?
Power distribution for the two-wire system signal generator – I’ve checked both the field site and the cabinet; the wiring is fine. I even changed the channels, but the problem persists
Changing the sensor will solve the problem; is there a solution?
What are the specific specifications of the level sensor (number of wires, power consumption, etc.)?
Two-wire, 4-20ma, output resolution of 1uA, power consumption
Have you tried powering it separately, without using the card circuit for power supply (by connecting the card in a passive manner)?
It’s possible that there is a problem with the internal circuit of the level gauge, and the current power supply isn’t sufficient to drive it.
