Let’s take a look to see if there are any issues with these two interlock logic diagrams – one for DCS and one for SIS
Personal opinion: 1. Regarding the SIS system, first and foremost, the logical structure of its design depends on the results of the SIL classification. First, determine the source of the signal at the site. 2. The SIS auxiliary control panel should be equipped with an emergency stop button. 3. Whether the circuit is normally closed or normally open depends on the design requirements of the SIS system. Therefore, it is impossible to accurately determine whether the interlock circuit you have designed currently meets the requirements; it’s hard to tell whether it is correct or not due to the lack of design specifications.
This is probably a schematic diagram; there’s an issue with the logical relationship between these two. Normally, when DCS interlock 1 is activated, SIS interlock 0 should be activated, and both should be indicated as closed (it would be better to use the output logic values 0 or 1 here); the situation should be the opposite. The condition for the trigger is also that the DCS sets the trigger; it should be 1 when triggered, and the output of the trigger becomes 0 after it is reset. Logical relationships should not be able to be expressed accurately.
