Must GDS use positive logic? 1 Trigger?

Question: Must GDS use positive logic? 1 Trigger? Is there such a rule? From which specification?
I’m not sure about GDS; I remember that in F&G, it’s usually triggered once, in order to prevent actions from being initiated due to a broken connection, which could cause losses or problems……
There are regulations stating that the GDS must trigger interlocking at 1.
