Selection of valve body material

Generally, the material of the valve body should be at least as good as that of the pipeline. For example, if the pipeline is made of grade 20 steel, then WCB is usually chosen for the valve body. If the pipeline is made of Q345E, what material should be used for the valve body?
If it’s not at low or high temperatures, valve manufacturers still produce them using WCB, which falls under the category of carbon steel
It is safer to use 304 for valves. Material Q345E is used for low-temperature media below -20°C
If low temperatures are applicable, use LCC, A350LF2.
