1. A thermometer should be installed upstream of the throttling element, and the distance of the straight pipe section between the thermometer and the throttling element shall comply with the following requirements: a. When the diameter of the thermometer’s insertion sleeve or casing is less than or equal to 0.03D (where D is the inner diameter of the pipe), this distance shall not be less than 5D; b. When the diameter of the thermometer’s insertion sleeve or casing is between 0.03D and 0.13D, this distance shall not be less than 20D； 2. A thermometer should be installed downstream of the throttling element, and the straight pipe section between the thermometer and the throttling element should have a length of not less than 5 times the inner diameter of the pipe.
